Astro-Geo-Marine - PI462 - DC/AC Inverter

The PI462 inverter outputs a 60 cycle quasi sine wave from a dc source to drive small motors or fans. There is a built in capacitor for split phase capacitor run type motors.

The circuit is a high reliability design with no relays or one-time thermal cutouts.

Soft start output extends motor life and saves energy. Active output snubber circuitry reduces output switching noise. The input is protected against the application of reverse voltage. The output is protected with both current limit and short circuit protection. Auto reset over temperature protection is included. High reliability components and optional hermetically sealed package allow operation in hostile environments.
